Learn to save a life in our free CPR class.Did you know that 70% of all sudden cardiac arrests take place in the home?
Know what to do.
VBVRS offers you free CPR and First Aid training, led by our skilled, experienced member CPR instructors. They’ll give you the confidence to step out of your comfort zone and help someone—possibly a loved one— survive a sudden cardiac arrest.
We follow the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Family & Friends® CPR program, which teaches adult, child, and infant CPR with AED use and relief of choking. The First Aid program teaches general principles, trauma and medical emergency care, and what to do in environmental situations.
Accommodations are readily available for the hearing impaired. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS CLASS IS NOT A CERTIFICATION CLASS.
6,385 EMS calls for cardiac issues were dispatched in Virginia Beach in 2017.
Saving lives begins with you.
Our classes run from 9:30 am to noon.
